Founded on the date of the first-ever departure of the Bundesbrief from Switzerland to the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA, USA, June 10, 2006. The founding of the society corresponds with the international prominence achieved by the Bundesbrief in its maiden voyage for display in an international museum.
